Top Gear UK vs. Top Gear US

| |

For some reason, it seems like Top Gear UK and Top Gear US are trying to compete with each other. Well, as far as my pointless opinion goes, there is no competition here. Top Gear UK definitely comes out on top as reigning champ in my opinion. I think on the American version, the 3 on there are trying to reenact the comedic talents of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond from the British version.

Top Gear US

-TV car show, based on the BBC series of the same name
-The presenters of the show are professional racecar driver Tanner Foust, actor/comedian Adam Ferrara, and auto analyst Rutledge Wood. As with the original British version, the show has it's own version of The Stig, an anonymous driver, and each week, a celeb guest is featured.
-Debuted on History Channel on Nov. 21, 2010
Format
-Follows the same format as the British version. 3 presenters, they put vehicles through different tests and celebs are invited to test vehicles around a track.

Big Star, Small Car
-This is the American version of what the BBC version would call Star in a Reasonably Priced Car
