My Weekend

This weekend, I swear, was the loooooooooooooooooooooooongest weekend EVER!! But it was good. I bought myself a new CD, of an artist I swear I thought I'd never listen to. I ended up buying a CD of Judas Priest, titled the Essential Judas Priest. After a while of hearing Living After Midnight and Turbo Lover on the hard rock radio stations, you begin to start liking them.

And also, my stepdad bought Monty Python's The Life of Brian on Blu-Ray. Now I know why my dad never let me and my sis watch that movie. There's full frontal nudity, it's considered irreverent, and alot of bad language, including the F word and alot of British slang not alot of people would get, except me for some reason. If I hear someone use British slang, I almost instantly know what they are probably saying.

And my sister actually went on a first date with a dude she is going to school with, a guy named Gary. I'm startin to worry that maybe she's maybe moving too fast with him. I don't want him pushing her to have sex with him, because if she gets pregnant, major worries there!

And most of last week I spent blowing my nose out with a cold. And somehow, this morning I woke up to find my nose was bleeding! WTF? I had to blow my nose and all I see was blood! Last week all I did was blow my nose, sleep and practically hack up a lung from my stupid cold that my sis brought home from school, yay!!! Yeah, you can see the sarcasm, huh?

And as for the job search, there is a God!!!!!! I finally managed to find one, it's temporary, only about a month long, but hey, good enough for moi!! I start sometime this month. I gotta call this phone number to find out my start date. Basically it's a mail room job at the US Bank lockbox in Queensgate, really about 15-20 minutes from my house. All I gotta do is basically sort mail and stuff and send it to where it needs to go, mainly tax info. The job ends in April or June, somewhere around there. But, hey, this job is gonna help me towards school, especially the $1200 I have to pay because my financial aid went down like the Titanic. All because of one bad grade, WTF???

The 11 Tag Post

Here are the rules.
1) Post these rules.
2) Post 11 random things about yourself
3) Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post
4) Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer
5) Go to their blog and tell them they’ve been tagged
6) No cop-outs in the tagging section like, “If you are reading this” or “if you follow me”. You have to legitimately tag people!
Pt. 2
1.)I'm the biggest tomboy alive! I'd rather dress in jeans and a rockband shirt than mini skirt and cute t-shirt.
2.)When I was a kid, I watched all the stuff my parents watched on TV and in movies, like Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances on TV, James Bond and Star Wars on the screen.
3.)In high school, I was a total dork! Probably not all that different now...
4.)I wish I could go back to the 1960s, see what the 'Swinging London' times were like. Maybe catch a Beatles concert?
5.)My celeb crushes: Jamie Bamber from Law and Order: UK. Those baby blues of his melt me, and Jim Sturgess from Across the Universe, cuz he looks like a cross between a young Paul McCartney and a young George Harrison, and his accent, omg, gorgeous!!

6.)I still play with Legos, even at age 21
I so gotta try this!!!
7.)When it comes to movies, I love movies with music and singing(Across the Universe, Goodbye Mr. Chips, etc), action(Rambo, etc), futuristic, sci-fi(Freejack, Blade Runner, etc.) Romance(Sleepless in Seattle, Love Actually, Ghost, etc), comedy(Monty Python's The Holy Grail, Caddyshack, etc)
My dad got me hooked on this one!!
8.)In my opinion, school feels like prison. You're here for a certain amount of time, the food sucks, you have teachers telling you what to do like prison guards and you're surrounded by annoying, stupid people.
9.)One dream I want to accomplish some day is to travel to another country, maybe England, China, Australia, Japan, Italy or maybe Russia. Russian history is a fascination of mine
10.)I'm completely fascinated by world history
11.)I have 3 different game systems to play video games on: GameBoy Advance, PS2, Wii which I play Just Dance on alot and I mean ALOT. Must explain how I dropped nearly 30 pounds!

Pt. 3. Hopefully these are the questions I have to answer.
 1: Favorite Video Game
-Crap, such a hard choice. Either Jet Li: Rise to Honor or True Crime: Streets of L.A.
2: Favorite Live Action Fiction TV Series (does not include comedies)
-Hmm. Does the BBC show Primeval count?

3: Have you listened to an audiobook? If so what is the best one you have listened to
-Never listened to audiobooks. I prefer to read a book, idk why.

4: Do you believe in Bigfoot, UFOs, or Ghosts.
-I believe in ghosts. I believe the ghost of my dad is still hanging around. :D

5: What is your favorite Baseball team? If you don't like Baseball what is your favorite sports team.
-Not too big on baseball. I'm more of a soccer girl, baseball is okay. I root for the home team, the Cincinnati Reds. And soccer is a sport I watch avidly. IDK why, but I like watching the Premier League(England) Soccer and the Italian League Soccer or football in those countries.

6: What is your opinion of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (or if you haven't seen them, do you want to watch them)
-I really like the last one, The Return of the King. I guess that's slightly my dad coming out. He loved that one too, so that's something me and him had in common. Our love of movies

7: What is the best movie you have seen in the theaters
-Tough choice between Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows, pt. II and Rugrats in Paris

8: Do you like or dislike the Star Wars Prequels (if you haven't seen the Star Wars prequel trilogy do you want to see the any of the Star Wars movies)
-Does this mean the ones from the 1970s and 1980s? Because if, so, yup!!

9: What movie quote do you use most often in normal conversation?
10: Do you like or dislike older movies in general (before 1980)
-Heck no, I love all those old movies, I live for them.

11: Marvel vs. DC, which is your favorite (please note if you have not seen many movies from either franchise)
-Marvel, baby!!! Love it!!

Pt. 4
1.)If you could get married anywhere at any time, where and why?
2.)Who would you date or marry? Rich or famous, young or old, doesn't matter
3.)Who is your celebrity crush?
4.)Who would you love to meet someday? A deceased family member? Someone famous? Someone in your family, perhaps?
5.)What's one thing you want to accomplish in your life?
6.)What's one quirky thing about you that makes you unique?
7.)Do you believe in true love?
8.)If you could go back to any period in time, when and why?
9.)What musician would you love to see in concert and what tour of that musician would you love to see?
10.)If you could own any car, real or fake, movie or real life, what would it be?
11.)What's you favorite holiday?

A fellow blogger named Summerbaby came up with this one I think. :D
Here are the rules
1)You must re-post these rules
2) Round One: post eleven random things about yourself
3) Round Two: answer the questions the tagger posed to you in their post
4) Round Three: create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer
5) Tag people and go to their blog and tell them that they've been tagged for the game
Round 2

 4. World history is a fascination of mine
 5. I make friends very easily with older people
 6. I always have the giggles, once I start, I can't stop laughing, and if someone says something funnier, it gets worse!!
 7. My celeb crush is Jamie Bamber from Law and Order: UK. Those baby blues of his win me over!! OMG, he's so gorgeous, and that accent, makin' me melt!!!
 8. I'd lose my marbles if it wasn't for music
 9. In my family, it's down to just me, my mom, stepdad and sis.
 10. One of my favorite movies is The Full Monty
 11. I'm totally addicted to those Just Dance games for the Wii System

-I said it to my mom before I left for school this morning and yup, I mean it.

-Nah, not really either of them. I'd rather find my prince charming in my own time, he'll probably come.

3.) If you was given the chance to sing for Elvis Presley what would you wear?
-LMAO, my Beatles t-shirt, :D

4.) What do you think the world will be like in 180 years from now?

7.)  Do you  agree with the following, “Love some. Like some, but trust no one” ?
-Yup.

8.) What Celebrity do you think is overrated ?
-OMG, Robert Pattinson. All I ever see anymore is his face from Twilight. Sorry, he's not that great looking. Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter beats him by a loooooong shot!

9.)  Do you think pigs will ever be able to fly ? :-p
-IDK, but that would be cute. I love pigs, they're my favorite animal

10.)  Mick Jagger calls you at 3am  in the morning , he is crying , he wants to tell you a very dark secret he has never told anyone before . What do you think it is?
-He found out he has another child he didn't know about, lmao!!!!!
-Besides, he has 7 of them, mostly girls. This dude is drowning in the Estrogen ocean. ROTFLMAO!!!
-Either that, or he found out Keith is coming to his house to kill him for doing a solo career and acting like a big headed airhead!

-Happy, yet also hungry

Round 4
 1. If you had to go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

1960s: My Ideal Decade

I wish I could have been born in this decade! All the good music came from this decade. And what's kinda cool is that if it was not for The Beatles, you may not have some of the musicians that are around today. I'll bet you that most of these musicians would list The Beatles as their inspiration

Performance

Hard to believe that Mick would enjoy being completely naked in certain scenes of this movie! From the way I hear it, in a few scenes of this movie, it shows Mick fully naked from the front! Ewwww!

Goldfinger

Psycho

Hawaii Five-O

Man from U.N.C.L.E
The actor with blonde hair is still acting today. Now, David McCallum plays the medical examiner, Dr. Mallard, or 'Ducky' on NCIS

Scooby Doo

The Beatles

The Rolling Stones

The Mamas and the Papas

Sonny and Cher

The Isley Brothers

My New Home.....

Well, after my dad died, me and my sister, along with my mom, started the long and arduous process of moving things out and over to her place. I hate this, I feel like I'm imposing on her, but I think she really appreciates me and my sis doing the housework for her during the day when we're home and she isn't. I think she appreciates that more than anything. And plus, she says that me and her are her comedic amusement, mainly with what we may say, or something we do.

So here are pictures of my "new home", Delhi Township, right outside of Cincinnati, OH.

The Serpentine Wall near the Ohio River

The Museum Center in Queensgate

Proctor and Gamble, or what me and my sis call it, the Phil and Lil towers. From a cartoon called Rugrats, twins on there called Phil and Lil

Coney Island, the closest waterpark to me!!

Billie's. Local convenient store

St. Dominic Church. Right up the street from me, on Pedretti Ave.

Riverbend Music Center. Not cheap and also the site of a mass accident in the 1970s, 11 fans were trampled to death outside during a Who concert

Music Hall, in a neighborhood called Over the Rhine. AVOID this neighborhood at all costs, crime infested, drug addicts, pimps/prostitutes, you name it!

Cincinnati Underground Railroad Museum

Chili, a Cincy fave

Paul Brown Stadium, where the Cincy Bengals play, football team, they don't win that much, so don't make a big deal about them, most of them are criminals anyway!!

Art Museum in Eden Park

Macy's. I pass this store every morning on my way to school

The Daniel Carter Beard Bridge or what everyone else calls it, the "Big Mac" Bridge, cuz it looks like the hamburger from McDonald's

Monroe, OH. Outlet mall

Local college. College of Mt. St. Joseph.

Cincinnati Public Library

Delhi Middle School

Great American Ballpark, where the Cincy Reds play. Baseball team, also where Paul McCartney played recently

Millenium Hotel downtown

Duek Energy Center. The local convention center

Cincinnati WaterWorks.

My mom's doctor office. Physicians of Good Samaritan Hospital

Scotti's. Italian restaraunt

University of Cincinnati
