Endeavour shuttle launch reset for Monday
NASA says it will try again next Monday to launch Endeavour on the next-to-last space shuttle flight.
It will be the second attempt to send Endeavour on its final voyage. On April 29, an electrical problem prevented the shuttle from blasting off. The trouble was traced to a switch box. The box was replaced, and technicians installed new wiring that bypasses the original circuitry.
Commander Mark Kelly will lead the six-man shuttle crew. He's married to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was critically wounded in Tucson in January. The congresswoman's staff says she will return for the next launch attempt.
Endeavour is loaded with a $2 billion particle physics experiment for the International Space Station.
